For our animation introduction video Rene made animations based on his animation script. Ruben en Dennis designed some graphics for the animations. Rene made all the animation in After effects the main program for 2D animation. The animation video contains an introduction animation and after that a step by step explainer what to do in the scavenger hunt. All the graphics have the same style to be consistent. The site, animation and promotions have the same style.

In the two images above you can see my workflow. I work with pre-comps to make things more clear for the next person who enters my project and for myself. You can compare a pre-comp with a map that contains multiple layers. In adobe premiere it is called ‘nest’. In the first picture you see all the pre-comps color coded. If you double click inside such a pre-comp you will be directed to the image above this text.

To find all my images, sequences etc I work with a very detailed archive. VO for the voice-overs, SEQS for all the compositions. With an archive like this it is easy to search objects in the project and for others members the project is more clear.
For our safe we wanted our brandname cut and painted. We will place the brandname on top of our safe. This is to have extra decoration and make clear who we are.

We got feedback on the design document we handed in to harry and boris. The main points of feedback were:
We will do so and when the project is finalised, so will our Design Document be
We have chosen a target group and we have analysed them thourougly . We have chosen to go for families with children age 12+. It is a large target group but it fits our concept best.

After we analysed our persona’s we also made a swot and golden circles. We did this to know what the experience for the user will be and what are our strengts and weaknesses
SWOT
Strength – Sneaky finders is an interactive way for all ages to learn about enschede, it is mostly focused on the teenagers above 12. They are the ones that use their phones the most and will be attracted most. The scavenger hunt is mostly focussed on particular time frames, such as the world war etc. This scavenger hunt is a fun and interactive way of learning about enschede for every one.
Weakness – Our weakness is the usage of phones, as it is not very social to each other, however you do not use your phone the entire time, as when you walk from one point to the other you look around. However when this is played together you can as one team just play on one phone.
Opportunities – We have the opportunity to have an alternative way of going through Enschede
Threats – People have to come to our installation, people have to want to play it. We are users reliable.
GOLDEN CIRCLES
WHY – This scavenger hunt is a fun way of teaching families about the history of enschede, and certain facts that are unknown to most visitors to enschede.
HOW – this scavenger hunt will be played on the users phone. They will be given an instruction video, this video explains how to play. After the video the user receives the QR code for the website where you play the game.
WHAT – It is a scavenger-hunt through Enschede played on a mobile phone in a web browser
Because of some feedback etc. we are making a stylesheet that makes sure everybody knows what the look and feel is. This is not finalized as we are open to feedback but it confirms the general direction we are heading in

Demo 2 was better prepared than the first demo, we mostly had to work on our experience and what do the people that participate get out of it. With the website getting more shape and the look and feel how we want to, we hope that that point will be better next time around. We still are not on a sufficient so we have to work a little harder.
After a long time of discussing we decided we wanted to go to T-mobile, we went there but they already had a group of students which would like to be in front.
We then went to Swapfiets and to top mobile, these were not our first choice and were also already chosen.
Koelink was our first choice however this changed to T-mobile as we didn’t want to associated criminals with a jewellery store.
The concept didn’t change much but we did chose for the jewellery store, they also really like our concept and thought it would fit their store.

After feedback on our first sprint and feedback on our very basic first sketch. We improved our character due to target audience and our concept. We want to achieve a peaky blinder look and feel. This character is still in his early days, it needs to be improved.
